Role Purpose
The Head of Digital Commerce & Media drives BIC's digital commercial performance across International Markets.This role owns the digital growth engine - ensuring superior digital shelf experience, effective retail media investment, optimized marketplace operations, and scalable content acceleration.The position defines the digital HOW - frameworks, tools, performance standards, and governance - while markets own execution.The ultimate objective is clear: drive profitable digital growth through visibility, conversion, and disciplined media investment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Shelf Excellence (SPARC & Content Quality)
-Define and scale digital shelf standards across International Markets.
-Own SPARC (Search, Price, Assortment, Ratings, Content) governance.
-Ensure best-in-class PDP content quality, discoverability, and conversion performance.
-Lead SEO and AI-driven discoverability (GEO) strategies.
-Track share of search, content completeness, and visibility metrics.

2. Retail Media Effectiveness
-Define global retail media framework and ROI standards.
-Establish media governance and investment guardrails.
-Scale analytics-driven media optimization (AMC, media cognition tools).
-Ensure media investments are margin-accretive and aligned with RGM.
-Partner with markets to improve return on ad spend (ROAS) and contribution margin.

3.Marketplace & eCommerce Operations (1P & 3P)
-Define global marketplace strategy (Amazon, Mercado Libre, others).
-Standardize 1P and 3P operating models and P&L frameworks.
-Drive portfolio optimization for profitability.
-Improve digital supply and availability metrics (fill rate, VLT, OOS).
-Ensure alignment between digital growth and channel strategy.

4.Content Acceleration & GenAI Enablement
-Scale content creation and optimization using GenAI tools.
-Standardize content governance across markets.
-Improve speed-to-market for product launches and updates.
- Ensure alignment between digital assets and masterbrand guidelines.
-Reduce manual workflows through automation.

5.Archetype Deployment & Market Prioritization
-Tailor digital strategies by archetype maturity.
-Identify priority markets for acceleration within each archetype.
-Provide structured enablement for underpenetrated high-growth markets.
-Support GMs in digital growth roadmaps.

6.Performance & Profitability Accountability
-Own digital commercial dashboards and KPIs.
-Ensure digital growth is profitable (not only volume-driven).
-Partner with RGM on price and mix optimization.
-Provide Executive visibility on digital performance impact.

Profile & Experience
-12-15+ years in Digital Commerce, eCommerce, or Omnichannel roles
-Deep experience in digital shelf optimization and retail media
-Strong understanding of marketplace economics (Amazon 1P/3P, MeLi, etc.)
-Proven ability to manage digital P&L dynamics
-Strong analytical mindset and performance orientation
-Experience in international, distributor-heavy environments preferred
